This is a 1/1 scale, full sized
replica of Nicholas D. Wolfwood's hand gun from the animated series
Trigun. This was a resin and white metal kit that I did on commission.
My approach to
this gun was simple, make it look real. To that end, I decided to file
down, sand, polish, and buff all the metal and then clear coat it. This
made it a pretty simple kit. The inner barrel is Alclad. The body is
Metallic Black. And the grips are Pearl.
The gun ended up
looking a little too real. So I had to caution my client who was
intending to use it as a cosplay prop.
