Armored Trooper Votoms is one of the all time classic anime series from the 1980's golden era. Most of the A.T. designs where created by Kunio Okawara of Gundam fame.

However Votoms distinguished its self by have a more down an dirty in the trenches look and feel to it. 

Thought the core TV series is available English subbed on DVD, the many OVA's that followed the series have never made it to the US.

---i.e. major kudos to anybody who can get me a fan sub or Laser Disk copy of  'Merowlink' or "The Last Red Shoulder' OVA's ;)
